This was an incredible year for snow on Mauna Kea. I think these photos speak for themselves. A favorite thing to do among the locals is to fill up your truck with snow and make a snowman back at home. We didn't make a snowman, but it we did throw a few snowballs in town, then brought it to Kirtan where it was so much fun to watch the kids delight in the out of place substance.
